A review of Suruchi Restaurant by Gus Logie written on Monday 14th of April 2008
I saw a bunch of Indians enter Suruchi at Nicolson Street and was so intrigued that I followed them just to see what Indians eat. Nothing in the Menu relates to British Indian food. Since then I have been on their mailing list and been for their sampler's nights. Inexpensive meals. Mixture of fascinating flavours. Go there only if you want a different treat.... not a madras vindaloo curry hoose. Both restaurants have jolly staff. Thoroughly recommend it for people wanting to try the non colonial stuff..
