"Comfortable bed but unwelcoming staff"

Stayed for one night in June. Hotel entrance is not obvious, no reception area - just one end of the bar!

Had to wait to check in while customers at the bar were served. Felt like we were just a bit of an inconvenience to the bar staff & little attempt at a welcome.

Room was ok, but arrived on a very hot day to find all the windows closed & the radiators on full??

Good points were a comfortable bed & very nice breakfast served by the only member of staff who seemed pleased to see us!
