"Very good care, lovely home, thoroughly recommended"

The Tor Christian Nursing Home in Corstorphine is a beautiful place, set in a lovely old house and a new building attached. It has lovely gardens and an aviary, and has a bistro within the house where you can take your relative "out" for a cup of coffee - a touch of genius there!

The care seems to be unparalled, there are always lots of staff, a mixture of nurses, carers and activity coordinators, and they all treat the residents with respect, care and what's more, it seems to me, love. Small things like taking my father's hand to lead him to his room, are worth their weight in gold. There are many activities every day, including classical music concerts, outings etc.

My father has been in the Tor for a couple of weeks and so far I could not praise it enough..
