A great little bar with loads of history and a strong literary background. How many bars do you know with 6 dictionaries on a shelf above the pies? Basic food includes pie'n'beans etc and filled rolls. Friendly place and good chat. They have managed to get cushions for the 'lounge' pews.(If the pews are still there) Dogs are allowed but there ain't enough room to swing a cat..
