A review of Belford Guest House by Jo Ellen Nealy written on Sunday 22nd of February 2009
My husband, Steven, and I have had the privilege to stay at the Belford House twice over the past decade. There is absolutely no place else we'd rather go and/or be at in Edinburgh. The Belford House was our sanctuary, being a long way from home without the comforting familiarity that a friendly face or place can bring. From the first moment we walked through the front door, we loved this place, and we always will. Our heartfelt blessings go out to Tom, Alec, Jean, and the beloved housekeeper whose name escapes me at the moment (I am embarrassed about that). And, without hesitation, our sincerest remembrances and love for Isa, who was the heart and soul of the Belford House..
