"The best veggie haggis EVER!"

The Southern Cross Cafe is right next to the hostel that we stayed at, and we found a coupon for a fixed breakfast of £3.95 and decided to stop by the next morning. It's a cool vibe, pretty minimal, but great in every sense.

The fixed prix breakfast had an option of haggis or veggie haggis, I was actually expecting to taste a really bad veggie burger with some spices, not to be. Instead, I was quite surprised to find really, really good veggie haggis, with an influx of spices, bergamont I think, very, very tasty! It was a proper Scottish breakfast all the way, complete with beans, toast, and eggs, I definitely will return there again on my next trip to Edinburgh!
