A review of Madras Cottage by Ananymous written on Wednesday 27th of May 2009
Thought the menu looked really good which is why we chose it. Unfortunatly its not the food which is the problem it is the staff.
May I say the delivery guy is lovely, however the guy who answers the phone needs to have some lessons in delivering an excellent customer experience.
We did not get the food we ordered, even after clarifying the situation. We even knew when we came off the phone that we were not going to get what we wanted as the guy did not sound confident in his own answers.
The food was delivered to the wrong address, once again, my husband had to clarify on two occasions the address including giving the numbers. God only hopes that they have not woken a family up as it was later in the evening that we had the delivery.
When I phoned to advise that the order was incorrect, I was told I was wrong. We got what we asked for!! I advised that we had clarified twice what we wanted and was advised I was still wrong!
Then I was offered something free next time, do they really really really think I am going to order and spend money in their establishment after the way I have been spoken to. .
