A review of Ben Hur by Hamish written on Friday 21st of May 2010
I have now visited this chip shop on three occasions after a convivial night with friends in the historic Roseburn bar. Do not be tempted, they obviously reheat yesterdays left overs for those that have had a few. I have had haggis, black pudding and fish which is inedible and the batter will break your teeth, the chips are greasy and luke warm and my labrador dogs will not eat the food they serve. Think of the welfare of your pets and do not be tempted to feed them what they sell. March steadily home for cheese on toast. You will thank me for this advice..
