A review of Forsyth's Tea Room by S Corrigan written on Friday 9th of July 2010
Forsyth's Tearoom in Chalmers Close is a cute little place that has excellent cakes, pies and desserts and lovely soups. We did not have any of the sandwiches, but they did sound nice via the menu. If you want to feel like you're in an Edinburgh tea room from the past, this is the place. The proprietor was a lovely older woman wearing a long dress, with her hair swept up in a bun and a welcoming smile. We have been there more than once. Great hidden location just 20 steps off the beaten path of the Cannon Gate high street..
