A review of Aim Computers by Anon written on Sunday 5th of September 2010
Tried this shop to support local business.
Had a laptop problem where a new hard drive was needed.
Service was not rude but not very friendly either.
Drive was replaced but at no point did the shop suggest that they could transfer the data - I assumed this to be a basic part of replacing a drive. However when questioned, this was an additional service - c. £18 for at most a 10 minute job. As I only found this out when I picked up the laptop I declined this service but all my data is now on the old drive which is in a worse condition now than it was when it went in so I cannot access any of it. I will be taking it somewhere else to be recovered.
Shop opening hours are part time at best which makes contacting difficult.
Not worth it, find somewhere else.
