"Leith Walk Memories"

I read some of your memories on the site and It brought back many tnoughts of my time at Leith walk 1946- 1952. My family were pupils there so I just followed them on. Miss Cooper was my infant teacher and she ruled the class with a strong but caring hand. Miss Reid was my favourite teacher because she helped me a lot. I have travelled the world and now live in Australia for the past forty four years but I will never forget the old school. Gordon Hawkes. .
