A review of Boisdale Hotel by M. J. written on Thursday 7th of October 2010
The rooms and facilities are good and appear to be newly decorated. There is, however, a limited amount of hot water to be shared between all the hotel's rooms, which means that you're going to need to shower either very early or quite late if you want to do so using hot water..
The water aside, the hotel as such is good, but the service provided by the (Russian?) receptionist - who appeared to be on shift constantly - was, in many ways, quite intimidating. He was rude, hard to understand and overwhelmingly impatient (during breakfast, he would start resetting your table for the next load of guests before you were finished, and he was very keen to sell various excursions with certain tour providers..). Not good..
