A review of Newliston Arms by Pubcriticedin written on Thursday 19th of May 2011
Having returned after the departure of the previous owner. I can't say that I was greatly impressed or encouraged to return - still vastly overpriced for what is being provided.
At £3.30 a pint of lager this is almost a £1 dearer than most pubs in Edinburgh who are not centrally located you then add the fact that it is 80p for a dash of a very strong syrup tasting dash.
A rather strange smell eminates from the numerous dogs that frequent the place with their owners.
Not met the new owners and have heard mixed reviews.
