"Avoid at all costs"

To say the service and food were diabolical would be an understatement. I visited the restaurant for the first time a few weeks ago. I ordered the ceylonese korma and it tasted like someone had emptied a carton of orange juice into the korma sauce. I visited again tonight thinking that I may have been unlucky the last time. I ordered a takeaway; Chana Puri and a Vegetable KashmiriKorma. The order took an interminable time to prepare but that wasn't the worst of it. The Chana Puri had chicken in it which I never asked for and the Korma also had chicken it. The Korma sauce was also as thin as water. I took it back and received no apology only excuses and the waiter raising his voice in some desperate manner to put over his point. The waiter made no attempt to salvage the situation in an amicable manner. When I said I wouldn't be back, a female joined the conversation without introducing herself. (she later garbled something about running or owning the establishment). They then gave me my money back and told me to leave as I had already said I wouldn't be back. So, rather than apologise and try and keep me as a customer they preferred to lose me as a customer and subsequently losing any other potential customers from my friends. The restaurant is always practically empty and it is easy to see why.
