"Chritmas Service?"

Yet again Morningside Post Office ignores lengthy queues.

At4.30 today there were 3 assistants coping with a lenthy queue of customers. At 4.40 one assistant closed down her station and proceeded to do whatever it was that was so important on her computer. It was unbelievable that she ignored what was by now a considerable queue and left her two colleagues to cope with the ever lengthing line of customers. It has to be said that this is not unusual for this post office at busy times.There seems to be no system for flexibility of staff to respond to numbers of customers.However surely at this time of year customers' needs should take precedence over administative tasks. Take a leaf out of Marks and Spencer who can conjure up staff if queues start to form! .
