"Customer service - there isn't any"

I have power of attorney for a lady who is totally incapable of managing her affairs. That power of attorney is fully registered with Santander. I have just spent 40 minutes being shunted around the telephone system. I can't take out an ISA for her without resubmitting the power of attorney. I can't get an appointment at the local branch at any time for a week. This is absolutely pathetic and ridiculous. This is not the first difficulty I have had with this bank. I am probably going to remove all accounts from this bank - a considerable amount of money!.
