"The Old Kirk"

I was married in the Old Kirk on the 3rd of July 1965 by Mr Ian Reid. I also was a Sunday School Teacher. My Wife and I were members of the Youth Fellowship, the Iona Community and many other organisations. Things were different then, not necessarily better, we tithed, that is we gave 10% of our income and much more difficult 10% of our time to christian causes. My wife and me will celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary shortly and we will celebrate the great start and direction our marriage was given by Ian Reid and the Old Kirk of Edinburgh..
