A review of Jeannie Deans Tryste by Hugh wilson written on Sunday 2nd of February 2014
Well while waiting on my friend I went into Jeannie dean's for a pint ,had a great hour in there and found everyone in there to be friendly and warm ,I spoke to the regulars about working in Canada and Germany and also about while working with a Russian that he had told me that the way they drink there vodka was to add honey to it and to heat in the microwave oven ,I told the regulars of my experience of this strange way of drinking vodka and of how good it had turned out to be ,and that I found a quarter pint of vodka and two large teaspoons of honey was just right ,one minute in micro n split onto two glasses was perfect ,I found everyone in the pub ,was warm and friendly and I will certainly return on the future !!
