"Disappointment tinged with praise"

On a recent trip from Manchester to Canada, Hamilton Munro, I was greatly disappointed to find myself on a replacement aircraft, a Boeing 737-800,and travelling Via Kevlavik in Iceland. My Business Class seat was meagre to say the least, but as the section was not at all crowded the Cabin Crew was able to ensure that the service at least, exceeded my expectations.

My return flight from Munro,the last of three company aircraft to depart, highlighted the fact that Munro is not as yet up to the task of multi handling of aircraft.

The flight was uneventful and satisfactory.

The good news is that I have made a further booking to travel to Hamilton for the coming Christmas period..
