"Excellent service!"

I was in this shop on Saturday 5th April with my daughter who is getting married next year. This was the first shop we had visited. It was very busy and had a lovely atmosphere - no appointment system! I had my two toddler granddaughters with me - they were even catered for and made welcome.

My daughter wanted a specific designed and Susan Gregory is a stockist, we travelled from Ayrshire to look at the dresses.

We were approached as soon as we entered the shop and asked if we would like assistance. My daughter had a few pre-conceived ideas but nothing set in stone.

The lady guided us through the stock quickly and then pointed out a separate rail of 'half price' dresses, assuring me there was absolutely nothing wrong with them, she needed space in the shop for dresses coming in.

The choice was enormous and we were left to browse, we picked an initial three to try on, one of them being a sale dress. After my daughter had tried on the 'sale' dress she had to be coaxed to try on others as she just loved it. We were advised to go and look a other shops and they would keep the dress aside on the off chance she changed her mind.

We visited Lily and Lace in Haymarket - horrible welcome - snooty to say the least, however we had a look at the shoes, good selection and while choosing a pair of shoes the assistance walked away and starting taking to someone else - we walked out - no wonder the shop was quiet!

I will probably go back to Susan Gregory for my outfit! I had a look and said I wanted a half sleeve - no problem we will put a sleeve in for you - what more can I say!.
