I rented a flat from W.W. & J. Borland a number of years ago. Not exactly the friendliest and most welcoming company I've dealt with, but they are a business and not here to be friends. The deposit and rent in advance were reasonable, fees were negligible, and the rent on the flat wasn't too excessive. When it needed fixing, someone came round quick enough. I feel quite guilty because I left owing about £75 in rent, and I ignored letters that were forwarded to me. So if Mrs Borland or whoever is reading this, I'm terribly sorry for that. Compared to a company I've just dealt with now, Borland were a pleasure to deal with. .
