I am presently engaged on an online coarse TUC Diploma on Equalities and I must complete Task two below. Therefore I must enquire if the Scottish National Officers of Prison Officers Association have been involved in an Equal Pay review and if so what was the outcome?

Before we start Task Two familiarise yourself again with the law relating to gender discrimination. We have already pointed you to the LRD and other resources available through the course. The following additional resources will also be useful:

• STUC Close the Gap Resource Public Sector Equality Duty
Task Two:
Use the Close the Gap Resource Conducting an Equal Pay Review: The Role of Union reps, to identify the role of the rep in the workplace. For your own workplace identify whether an equal pay review has been conducted or not in your workplace. If yes, produce a short report outlining what stage it is at or what the outcomes are/were, if the answer is no, using the resource draw up an action plan to start the process.
