A review of The Paper Rack by Annoyed written on Monday 16th of February 2015
I popped in with my little boy to buy some cigarettes on our way to the station and I straight away noticed the two men at the till smirking. I took no notice and after I bought the cigarettes, my son asked me for an ice cream. The two men by then were laughing hard and asked me "is he your son?" Followed by "how old is he?" I told them, curious to know why they were laughing at us and then the other asked "how old are you?"
I told them it was none of their business. One stopped laughing and made the excuse that it was because my son doesn't look like me (he has darker skin from his dad, keep pushing it) while the other continued to laugh and said "you look so young"
We didn't go there to be laughed at or judged! And we won't be back either. I'm a business owner and I would never, ever treat my clients like that. My little boy and I had been at the hospital all day and this was the last thing we needed. .
