A review of Warriston Post Office by Anonymous written on Thursday 4th of May 2017
I used Warriston Post Office this morning to post package and was stunned by the outrageous customer service I experienced. The post office was very quiet when I arrived with only one other customer who was being served at the open counter at the entrance. I walked to the rear of the shop to the main counter but realised that the assistant behind that counter was busy taping up a large parcel so I returned to the front counter to wait my turn. The young male assistant asked me if he could help me and when I explained what I wanted he asked me if I could read. I was a bit confused about the question so asked him to repeat to which he asked'can't you read the sign?' The sign he was referring to was positioned towards the rear of the shop and asked customers to ' please wait here to be served'. His manner was arrogant and condescending and what he was asking me to do made no sense given that he was manning the only available counter at the front of the shop. I left feeling humiliated and angry..
