A review of PDSA Pet Aid Hospital by Catherine Spence written on Wednesday 2nd of August 2017
I appreciate that the PDSA do their utmost to help our pets but its distressing to the owner when, in case of emergencies, their phone is continually engaged. I an desperate to get some help for my dog but I can't get through to them. I started phoning at 3pm and its now 4.20pm. I will have to take him to another vet, albeit I can't afford to pay their fees but I find I have no option as my dog is in urgent need. I have rescued dogs for nearly 40yrs and when I retired and also became disabled I turned to the PDSA for their help. They have normally been quite good but I must say that the answering of phones is often a lengthy wait for the caller. I find that today I will have no option but to attend another vet to get treatment for my boy. I understand they are busy and it's agreed that they do a brilliant job but in cases of emergency they are nearly impossible to contact and my precious boy is in need of urgent attention..
