"Why the wait"

I dropped my car off at aprx 09.30am, and the staff at the reception where first class, and extremely helpful. i called back at 16.30 pm as no one called me back, one thing i cant ynderstand is why have a phone service if no one is going to use it, my call was answered by a receptionist who put me through to the relevant department and the phone rang until it cut out, every time i called back the same thing happened. this went on for about 15 - 20 mins, until someone answered and lo and behold the car had not been touched, it was only a tyre valve to be fitted.

service went from 10 out of 10 in the morning to 1 out of 10 in the afternoon, and as i speak i sit here car less.
