I was born and brought up in portobello and remember Arcari ice cream shop.It sold the best ice cream in the whole of Edinburgh.It was like a second home to many of the people that stayed in portobello and was very sad to hear the shop and factory are now closed.Never been able to get good old plain vanilla ice cream since.
