The first-ever Bingo Night at the Club was most enjoyable, and well attended. The Team had prepared plenty of filled rolls and home-baked cakes, and Shirley compered the evening with her customary verve and enthusiasm. There were several tables of six people at each. Laying buttons onto the re-usable Bingo cards (instead of marker-pens, which would have needed to be wiped off afterwards) was ideal. Thanks to many local supporters who generously donated raffle prizes! The community of regular members was welcoming, inclusive and healthy..
