"Ring not returned!"

Keith took my diamond engagement ring (40 years old.)in 2017 to resize it. Basically.I’ve never seen it again. He promised cash.but then ‘couldn’t afford it.’ . He wrote an IOU for a sum my husband and I thought reasonable.but has NEVER paid us, never answered his phone, mobile or emails. We are distraught as it was obviously very special to us … and now he’s closed! The police weren’t interested never interested..
