A review of Globespan Group PLC by Mickeymouseglobespan written on Saturday 20th of October 2007
After my first post in July about our flights in May, we still haven't had the plesure of speaking to someone at MickeyMouseGlobespan.
We have contacted The Judge in the Sunday Mail, who contacted them, still no reply!
We have sent them recorded delvery letters, still no reply!
We have now been in contact with the AUC, who claim to be a "governing body" for airlines in the UK. I use this term "Governing body" loosely as they may only contact the airline twice and they can't advise them/tell them/order airlines to do anything.
Unlike Oftel or Ofcom they don't seem to hae any control over them! Seems a bit strange!
After the first contact from AUC to the airline, they are not allowed to contact them again for at least 6 weeks and even then they only do that when they get to your complaint in the pile of complaints they have!(probably all globespan).
If the airline doesn't answer at that point, there is nothing more the AUC can do!
So, court action may beckon.
I will be contacting the AUC again this week to see if any contact has been made by Globespan to their 2nd contact and I will post any answers!
Meanwhile, DON'T FLY GLOBESPAN!!!!
Also I have heard they have had their ETOPS licence taken away which stops them flying anywhere further away than 1 hour from land, not good for a transatlantic flight!!!!!!!.
