"Did not live up to its price."

A review of Regent House Hotel by Anonymous written on Sunday 20th of January 2008

We were warned that it would be a small double but we felt it was more of an average single. Kettle had to be put on floor to boil as short lead. Bathroom light flashed on and off, mirror not fixed properly, no plug in sink, requested but never arrived. Towels worn and frayed.

Did not like breakfast as bacon seemed to be boiled, the scrambled egg was rubbery and toast cold.

The good points were that it was in a great location and the rooms were kept clean.

Its a shame as with a bit more attention to some of the details, it could be very good..
