"Willowgrove House"

I was in Willowgrove for 363 days!!! I was admitted with bulimia in 1990 when I was almost 16yrs. I hated it and often went awol!! Though as a responsible adult with a family I realise that it was probably one of the most worthy things I ever did as it helped me come to terms with lots of bad things. Life is not a box of chocolates but I think I deal with the knocks better because of the intense therapy I endured. I liked the staff especially Margaret the cleaner - and my dear adopted granny Mrs Watson the teacher. She helped me a lot in adulthood and I adored her. The other staff had their hands full with me and my good friend Nicola Fisher - beautiful girl. .
